What connects you to nature?

In Colorado, simply looking at the Rocky Mountains is an intangible connection to nature that may not exist if smog covers our cities and oil companies are allowed to drill on previously protected national lands.  If everyone has a connection to nature there may be more drive to conserve our natural resources.   It is one thing to see ice sheets breaking off of Greenland or Venice underwater on the news, but it is another to see a fracking operation being built in your backyard or species like the Canadian Lynx going extinct.  Find what you love outside and do what you can to protect it.
